  • Development of Pattern recognition based advanced statistical methods (classifiers, feature selection  methods) for application in plant phenotyping, e.g., for detection of cold /drought responces 
  • Understanding of plants metabolism under cold acclimation
  • Application of advanced statistical methods for complex Metabolomics data analysis
  • Biophysical approach to study photosynthesis and chlorophyll fluorescence
  • Bioinformatics
